Arsenal's £23m deal for Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain has been plunged into doubt by the Spanish giants, who insist no agreement has been reached to sell the Argentine.
But no one has mentioned that to Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski, who has professed his happiness at the thought of Higuain joining him at the Emirates.
Manchester United could be set to swap Wayne Rooney for Barcelona pair Thiago Alcantara and David Villa - according to reports in Spain.
